Hope Valley Reservior

Writer: Matthew OgdenMatthew Ogden

Went for a good walk around Hope Valley Reservior. I enjoyed it. On a scale from 1-5. With 5 being being the best. The walk for wheelchair bound persons would be a 3.5 - 4. The track is gravel not paved.

The Hope Valley Reservoir was constructed between 1869 and 1872 as an off-stream storage reservoir to serve the growing Adelaide.

Much of the trails boast panoramic views across the water and to the hills, including the 800m dam wall which you can walk across.
